A leader's perspective...

Ethiopia is the only country in Africa which wasn't colonised - its cultural history is unique. The people of Ethiopia come from around 80 different ethnic groups or tribes. Many live simply and remotely and adorn themselves with colourful beads, piercings and lip plates. The people are friendly and open and you will often be the centre of attention. Traditional meals consist of a number of vegetable and meat dishes served on top of injera, a huge flatbread pancake. Utensils are not used; instead use your injera to scoop up the various dishes. This is a travel destination unlike any other and I promise you will never forget the experiences ahead!
